Wow! I didn't realize how long I had been gone!  Before I decide on my resolutions for the new year, I thought I would take a look back on 2012, one of the best years yet.  A lot of exciting things happened this year, To start the year, we went to Disney World (Ainsley and Scott's first time!) and we ended it by welcoming our sweet Harper Shay, not to mention all of the wonderful times in between!

Where has the time gone?!

Holy Monoley! It's December, and December 7 at that!  Where a has the time gone?  Life has been pretty hectic and the days have sort of meshed together in one long string of feeding Harper and taking Ainsley to and from school!  I feel like that is all I do now.  Don't get me wrong, life with these two little girls is wonderful and I wouldn't change a thing, but boy is it hard sometimes!  Who would have thought that taking care of two children would be hard?!  On top of non-stop feedings and spending time with Ainsley, I am also still taking classes!  Online classes are beneficial at times, however, this whole no break EVER is really starting to wear me down!
On a much happier note, it's almost Christmas!!  I love this time of year and Ainsley shares my affinity for elf culture  excitement!  Obviously, we have been tuning in to the 25 Days of Christmas movies!  So far Ainsley's favorites have been Elf (of course!) and Home Alone.  I didn't think it was possible for me to like Elf any more than I already do, but when there is a 5 year old sitting next to me laughing so hard she has tears coming down her face at the same things I am laughing just as hard at, makes it very easy to fall in love with the movie all over again! (Also, how awesome is Ainsleys sense of humor!)
I still have quite a lot to do before Christmas, taking pictures of the girls in front of the Christmas tree being high up on that list!

Seriously?!

I would like to start by saying that I am truly blessed to have had such a healthy pregnancy and to have made it almost to my due date.  I know a lot of women aren't as lucky and have to deal with a lot worse than I have!
That being said, HOW AM I STILL PREGNANT!  Seriously, I am completely stumped on this one.  At my last doctor visit, the good ole' doc shared a very scary/obvious piece of information with me!  This little girl is huge! Like possibly a 9lber!  To some of you that might not seem so bad, but what you may not understand is I'm not a tall gal!  I am 5'3" at best and the majority of that is definitely not my torso!  I don't understand how it is possible that I am even capable of growing such a giant baby, much less expected to carry her around in that non-existent torso!
I (and everyone else) thought for sure that I would have had her by now, but apparently I like my babies like I like my chicken, extra crispy!  Ainsley was 4 days overdue and that scares the begeesus out of me!  I am afraid if I don't have this one soon, she is going to be bigger than the Turkey we are having for Thanksgiving! Oh, and speaking of Thanksgiving, if she doesn't get her chubby butt out soon, we may be having lovely hospital food for Thanksgiving!
Alright, that's enough of my whining (for now)!  I am turning my oven off, so baby girl if you don't get out soon it's going to get really cold!  Also, I see the doc. again tomorrow and am going to beg for an induction!
