Hive Five for Friday

I have decided to join in with Lauren at From My Grey Desk.  I have posted her button on the sidebar if you would like to grab one and join in!

1- I made it through Ainsley's first week of preschool with only one day of tears!
2-Speaking of tears, it seems the crazy hormone induced emotions have subsided!
3- Hearing little peanut's heartbeat!
4-Sweet Tea- This has become my savior lately.  I haven't had any coffee since finding out we were expanding the peanut gallery, and limiting my caffeine in the mornings has been rough, but sweet day has saved the day time and time again!
5- College football is back baby!!

Happy Friday!!

30 for 30 Challenge

This challenge was started by Kendi over at KendiEveryday, here . This is such a great challenge to get you to use what you have in your closet instead of going shopping everyday, which I found myself doing lately. If you haven't heard of the challenge, the rules are very simple:
1: Choose 30 items from your closet: tops, bottoms, dresses, and shoes
2: Create a new outfit everyday
 3: No Shopping!

This should be very interesting for me as I continue to get larger! I may end up bending the rules a bit or swapping some of my original pieces for items that I can fit into.
I will stay true to the no shopping rule!
My plan is to start this challenge September 1. Only a few shopping days left!
Please feel free to join in the fun, I would love to see some of your outfits! Just leave a comment in the comment section with a link to your outfits!

Growing Pains

Ahh growing pains! I am feeling them from every direction, literal and emotional! These last few days have been extremely bitter sweet! Aside from the actual growing pains from peanut #2, my little sister got hitched this weekend and yesterday was Ainsley's first day of preschool. I am not generally an overly emotional gal, so I'm going to blame my raging hormones for the abundance of tears in the last 5 days. Who knew watching my little sister walk down the isle, dance with our dad, and do the Cha Cha slide would be so emotional, I sure didn't. The uncontrollable sobbing that ensued while watching the father/daughter dance caught me completely off guard. So Saturday happened and I dried my eyes and put on my big girl panties. Sunday rolls around and I lose it just looking at pictures from the wedding. Oh boy! Monday went off without a hitch and I'm thinking I'm back, enough with this emotional crap! Well, seeing your little girl run so eagerly into a classroom without a second thought, or hug or even "bye Mom", will rip your heart right out of your chest! I am happy to say that this morning went much better, I even got a long kiss on the cheek before I left! Growing pains suck but are necessary. I am just lucky to watch it all happen, even if it is gone in just a flash! Here are some pictures from, apparently some of the saddest, last few days! Seriously, how gorgeous is she?!
This guy always knows how to cheer me up!
And now my baby!
P.S. if anyone has figured out how time travel works, hit me up!!

The party don't start 'till I walk in!

As I mentioned before, I am a little late to the pregnancy documenting party, about 7 months to be exact. The important thing is that I am here now! So let's get this party started. Don't get me wrong, I haven't come completely empty handed! I have managed to take a few growing belly pics along the way, they did start to thin out and I am hoping to pick back up! I should also mention that neither I nor Scott are photographers, actually we couldn't be farther from it! I have a basic Nikon digital camera and a trigger happy finger, so generally I am lucky to get one good shot! So here it goes, starting at 7 weeks!
First peek at peanut #2!
Baby Girl!

A little about us!

Hi! I'm Angela, husband is Scott, peanut #1 is Ainsley, peanut #2 is due in November, and our dog is Dinah. We are just a silly little family living in North Carolina and this is my blog documenting the craziness! I am currently 7 months pregnant and we couldn't be more excited for our peanut gallery to expand. Ainsley will be 5 in September and is SO looking forward to a baby sister! I have been wanting to start a blog since I found out I was pregnant, 7 months ago. I am a little late to that party but that's alright! So this is my blog about pregnancy, fashion (or lack of!), interior design, and my silly life! Thanks for reading!!
