I'm so excited to introduce you to Melissa from Melissa Rey Styles.  She is super sweet and has great style (for both herself and her home!).

I approached the outfit pretty literally this week! I bought this skirt last summer and have yet to wear it, so as you can imagine, I was beyond excited to incorporate it into an outfit!  

I chose to forgo the jacket, and incorporated the brown in my shoes (which you can't see anyway!).

Lucky Number 6

Wowza! 6 years already?! 

I am so thankful for my husband!  Six years ago I made the best decision of my life, I married a God-fearing, God-loving, Mama loving, kid of a man.  My best friend, soul mate, hunky partner in crime! I could not have asked for a better person to spend the rest of my life with!  

Scott, you are my everything and I thank you for being you, and for being a wonderful, loving, husband and father.  

The past six years have absolutely flown by.  

"On the road of life, it's not where you go, but who's by your side, that makes the difference"

Well said, whoever said that!  I couldn't imagine a more fun loving and amazing person to travel this road with!

We have been through so much the past 6 years.

What a ride we have had so far! I am SO looking forward to the rest of our lives!

**Coming Soon >> Pin It and Spin It**

So, I have been doing some thinking about this here blog of mine, and I have been wanting to start a fashion series for some time now.  Well it appears that time has come!  I am still working out all of the minor details (i.e. frequency, to link-up or not) but the overall gist is complete and I will tell you to get ready to meet some super cute and wonderful ladies!

This series is entitled "Pin It and Spin It".  I know there are several other blogs out there that feature looks from Pinterest and I have always thought that was such a great idea! I, myself, am a bit of a Pinterest hoarder.  So, in order to put some of those "pins" to good use, and get the most out of my own closet, I came up with this series.  I will work together with a blogger to choose one pin, between the two of us, that we will put our own "spin" on.  There are no rules involved here!  ANYTHING can be taken from the "pin" and used in the "spin".  I am hoping it will help me look at my clothes in a new light, instead of assuming I need to go out and buy new stuff all the time every now and again!

6 months >> Halfway to too big!

I know I say it every month, but I can't believe 6 months has already passed!

It's a strange thing, I remember when Ainsley was this age I was encouraging her to crawl and walk and talk.  But the second go 'round, I am just trying to soak up every minute of delicious baby rolls, snugs, nursing, everything, and unfortunately it is slipping through my fingers WAY TOO FAST!  I just wish I could pause time for a bit to make sure I enjoy every last detail of both of my girls at this stage in their lives! SO, until that time machine is invented, I will try to capture as much as I can!

What's new with the Harpster:

>>All of that jumping you do (and boy do you do a lot) has slowed your weight gain.  You clocked in at a whopping 16.2 lbs! Not to shabby Missy! You landed in the 55%.

>>Your weight gain may have slowed but that doesn't mean you stopped growing!  You measured 26.75" long and landed in the 90% for length.  

>>You are wearing 6, 6-9, and some 6-12 month clothing

>>We have explored several different foods and you seem to have come to the conclusion that you like...food. Spaghetti, chicken noodle soup, broccoli, peas (not pureed, only when you can pick them up yourself), mashed potatoes, and yogurt are a few of the new foods you have enjoyed.

>>You still love to jump and bounce

>>Getting much better at sitting and you roll like a champ!
